About Muyu

MUYU exists to revive the world’s forgotten and underused crops — starting with native quinoa and tarwi from the Andes — and reimagine them as the foods we urgently need today.

Our mission is simple: to untap the potential of underused and forgotten plants to create the category-disrupting plant-based beverages of the future. In doing so, we aim to:

  • Support farming communities, especially indigenous protectors of the land

  • Restore circular agriculture that regenerates soils and biodiversity

  • Preserve food diversity for future generations.

We are launching Muyu MilQ, the first plant-based milk made with Quinoa and Tarwi. But we see this as just the beginning- this is a movement to transform our food system, one forgotten plant at a time.

Ancient foods have been disappearing from farms and plates for generations. Putting them back into our diets not only brings unique nutritional benefits (from stress relief to brain health) but also restores ecosystems, livelihoods, and the connection between people and the land. With every cup of Muyu MilQ, we’re rebuilding a more diverse, sustainable, and nourishing future.

About the Job

We’re looking for a Chief Growth Officer & Co-Founder who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us bring Muyu MilQ- the first plant-based milk made with quinoa and tarwi- to the world. This is not just a job—it’s an invitation to help shape the future of food.

You’ll be at the forefront of our commercial growth and fundraising strategy: driving sales across cafés, retailers, and ecommerce, while also raising capital, building investor confidence, and setting up the capabilities and team needed to scale.

Your main goal: get Muyu MilQ into the hands (and cups) of as many people as possible and help secure the resources to fuel our growth.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Commercial

  • Craft and lead our sales and revenue growth strategy across ecommerce, foodservice, and retail.

  • Build and nurture relationships with cafés, restaurants, retailers, and distributors.

  • Partner with brokers and distributors to expand our market presence.

  • Track, analyze, and optimize ecommerce sales.

  • Represent Muyu MilQ at trade shows, industry events, and tastings.

  • Deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to clients and partners.

  • Maintain CRM pipeline, reporting, and revenue forecasts.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Support capital raising efforts (angel, seed, and follow-on funding).

  • Support strong investor relationships with transparency and trust.

  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support fundraising, growth, and scenario planning.

  • Manage cap table and valuation modeling using Pulley and Excel.

  • Co-develop and refine investor presentations and fundraising collateral.

  • Confidently pitch Muyu MilQ to investors and strategic partners.

Start-Up Leadership & Team Building

  • Build the early-stage team, systems, and processes required to scale a CPG business.

  • Help shape and strengthen the culture of Muyu MilQ, grounded in purpose and impact.

  • Collaborate with the founding team on go-to-market plans, branding, and expansion.

  • Share accountability with the founders to the board of directors and investors.

Who You Are

  • A sales leader with proven experience growing CPG Startups, ideally in food & beverage, wellness brands or plant based.

  • Experienced in building teams, systems, and capabilities within an early-stage environment.

  • An entrepreneur at heart—perhaps you’ve been a founder or senior leader in a fast-scaling startup.

  • Skilled at presentations, Excel/financial modeling, and CRM tools.

  • Driven by a passion for sustainability, wellness, and impact.

  • Energized by building something from the ground up.

Commitment & Lifestyle
